Meet the coaches/DIRECTORS

Koby Munoz

Koby Munoz is a dedicated basketball coach and skills trainer with a strong background as both a player and mentor. He played four years of varsity basketball in high school, gaining valuable experience at multiple schools. During his junior year at Ribet Academy, a private school in Los Angeles, he averaged 13.7 points per game. In his senior year at San Fernando High School, Koby had a breakout season, averaging 22.2 points and 5 assists per game. He ranked among the top players in California in scoring, assists, and field goals made—finishing #6 in points per game, #10 in field goals made, #4 in three-pointers made, and #5 in assists per game within the Los Angeles City Section. His leadership helped guide San Fernando to the City Section finals, earning him All-League and All-City honors.

Koby excelled academically, making the honor roll all four years of high school. He continued his basketball career at the collegiate level, playing two years and earning All-Academic First Team recognition. During college, he discovered his passion for coaching and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Antelope Valley.

Currently, Koby coaches at Chavez High School, serving as the head coach for the girls’ junior varsity team and assistant coach for the varsity squad. He began training young athletes during his freshman year of college in the Santa Barbara area, hosting skills clinics and basketball training sessions throughout the Valley. Today, he is a highly experienced basketball skills trainer and a strong advocate for speed and agility development, committed to helping young athletes reach their full potential.

Ken Munoz

Ken Munoz is a passionate basketball coach and experienced skills trainer with a strong foundation as both a player and mentor. He played three years of varsity basketball in high school, transferring schools each year and continually elevating his game. During his junior year at Ribet Academy, a private school in Los Angeles, he averaged 8.7 points per game. In his senior year at San Fernando High School, Ken had a breakout season, averaging 20.7 points and 5 assists per game. His performance earned him state and city recognition—he ranked #24 in California for assists per game, #9 in scoring in the Los Angeles City Section, and #5 in three-pointers made. He played a key role in leading San Fernando to its first City Section final appearance and earned All-League and All-City honors.

Ken excelled academically, making the honor roll throughout all four years of high school. He continued his basketball career at the college level for two years, where he was named to the All-Academic First Team and discovered his passion for coaching. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Antelope Valley.

Currently, Ken serves as the head coach of the girls’ varsity basketball team at Chavez High School. He began training young athletes during his freshman year of college alongside his brother, hosting basketball skills clinics and training sessions throughout the Santa Barbara and Valley areas. Today, he  is a dedicated coach and skilled trainer, committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes and helping them achieve success both on and off the court
